Mayor Jared Carr gave his annual State of the City address at the Lebanon Rotary Club meeting July 21st.
In his address, he noted that the State of the City continues to be strong and mentioned several accomplishments over the last year.
Some of the highlights included:
✅ Improved 6.7 miles of roadways in FY 2022 plan to improve 6.7 miles in FY 23 investing additional dollars.
✅ Opened Fire Station No. 3.
✅ Implemented new crime reduction strategies.
✅ Upgraded Waste Water Treatment Plant.
✅ Welcomed new business, including Ice Cream Factory, S & H Farm Supply, Big Lots.
✅ Approved pocket park in downtown Lebanon.
✅ Began seeing fruits of housing incentives with several new projects underway.
✅ Announced 5 percent vacancy rating for downtown buildings - downtown is growing!
✅ Continued dialog with business through the Coffee with the Mayor Program, improved website and began publication of Lebanon Magazine - a spring and fall citizen update.
